Raion’s approach to GDPR
Raion is officially compliant with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
At Raion, we pride ourselves on encouraging the significance of diversity and inclusion as well as creating equal opportunity for all, irrespective of one’s socio-economic background.
It is equally as critical to protect our users’ right to privacy. And we pride ourselves on creating a trusted AI platform for our entire community where users have our full confidence that we are committed to protecting all the personal data that is shared within Raion.
Who has to be GDPR compliant?
Any company that processes the personal data of EU citizens or provides services, must follow GDPR regulations, irrespective of where they are based globally.
In this fast paced world, we all want to be able to understand how our personal data is being used, and GDPR is designed to help enhance this for all EU citizens. It is a requirement for Raion to follow these regulations and maintain the highest level of compliance when protecting our communities right to privacy, which includes your data.
How do we protect our users?
We know that GDPR is confusing. And that is why we are always seeking to improve our level of transparency and clearly communicate the reasons why we are processing user data.
In order to become GDPR compliant and maintain our ethical standards, Raion regularly reviews and evaluates all user data with our independent data protection officer. This includes reviewing any integrated systems, our client requirements and all of our policies, internal processes and procedures.
We are constantly questioning our approach to ensure that we are acting in the most lawful and fair manner in every aspect of our business, and when it comes to data privacy we will always do our best to collect relevant and accurate information, and only what is necessary. It is key that our users know that they can always request access to their personal data. However, the process and security around this can feel somewhat tedious at times for the user when making such requests. This is by design, and whilst it may feel like ‘overkill’ we believe it is necessary to ensure we protect our users’ privacy and are always only providing the right user with the right information.
Data privacy is rapidly evolving with regards to the relevant laws as well as best practices from an ethical standpoint. Raion takes data privacy very seriously and we encourage you to reach out to our team should you have any questions at firstname.lastname@example.org
