Raion Technologies Limited Cookies Policy - As of September 2022

What are cookies?

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your computer or mobile device when you visit the site. The two types are:

1. First party cookies are cookies set by the website you’re visiting. Only that website can read them. In addition, a website might potentially use external services, which also set their own cookies, known as third-party cookies.

2. Persistent cookies are cookies saved on your computer and that are not deleted automatically when you quit your browser, unlike a session cookie, which is deleted when you quit your browser.

Every time you visit our website, you will be prompted to accept or refuse cookies via the cookie banner.

How do we use cookies?

Raion Technologies website mostly uses first-party cookies. The ‘first-party cookies’ cookies are set and controlled by us, however, the ‘third-party cookies’ are controlled by any external organisation.

The 2 types of first-party cookies we use are to:
1. Make our website operational
2. Store user login details for a quicker login experience

These are set by us and only we can read them. They remember:
if you have agreed to (or refused) this site’s cookie policy your login details (should you choose for the website to remember your login details)

Login Cookie

This is a persistent cookie initiated during the sign up process should you want the website to remember your login details for a quicker login next time you visit the site. It stores the login details of your account so that next time you come on the site and want to log in, the email and password will be filled in automatically for you. It is controlled by us.

Third-party cookies

Some of our pages use services to help us improve our user experience.

As part of using our website, you are accepting their specific terms and conditions. This includes their cookie policies, which we have no control over.

But if you do not use our website, no third-party cookies are installed on your device.

Our third-party providers

1. Google Analytics

These third-party services are outside of our control. These providers may, at any time, change their terms of service, purpose and use of cookies.

Use of Google Analytics

The processing and scope

We use Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (hereinafter referred to as Google).

Google Analytics examines, among other things, the origin of visitors, their length of stay on individual pages and the use of search engines, thus allowing better monitoring of the success of advertising campaigns. Google places a cookie on your computer.

This allows personal data to be stored and evaluated, in particular:
1. The user’s activity (in particular which pages have been visited and which elements have been clicked on),
2. Device and browser information (in particular the IP address and the operating system),
data on the advertisements displayed (in particular which advertisements have been displayed and whether the user has clicked on them) and
3. Data on advertising partners (in particular pseudonymised user IDs).

We use Google Analytics to evaluate your use of our online presence, to compile reports about your activities and to use other Google services related to the use of our online presence and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not combined with other data from Google.

We activated the IP address anonymization, whereby Google will shorten your IP address as soon as technically possible. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.

Google may transfer your personal data to Google affiliates and other processors.

Further information on the collection and storage of data by Google can be found here:

Your right to withdraw your consent.

You have the right to withdraw your consent under data protection law at any time. The withdrawal of the consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent up to the withdrawal.

You may prevent the collection and processing of your personal data by Google by preventing the storage of cookies by third parties on your computer, by using the “Do Not Track”; function of a supporting browser, by deactivating the execution of script code in your browser or by installing a script blocker such as NoScript (https://noscript.net/) or Ghostery (https://www.ghostery.com) in your browser.
