AI implementation for your business
A closed breakfast briefing for people from finance, technology and public policy. Daemon took the room through what it takes to put AI to work inside a business, and Justin Lyon of Simudyne spoke on simulation.
The focus has moved from the compute to the business.
Raion's network is built around the infrastructure: the sites, power and operators that make sovereign AI compute possible, the capital that pays for it, and the forum where the people behind it meet. The brochure for the morning put it in one line: the infrastructure has been built, and the focus now shifts to execution. Once an organisation has the compute, how does it actually use AI in the business?
That is Daemon's side of the partnership. Daemon is a London technology consultancy that takes complex technology, AI included, from potential into production. Raion and Daemon convened a small room at One Canada Square so that delegates from finance, technology and public policy could hear, from the people who do it, what implementation inside a business really involves.
What Daemon took the room through
Two presenters at the head of one table, slides on the wall screen, and discussion around the table. Three points from Daemon's slides.
Riding technology waves
Daemon's positioning slide put it plainly: the firm helps its clients ride technology waves.
From potential to production
Daemon's work is landing complex technology change in production and building the foundations that let it scale from there.
Leaving the team stronger
It works so that the capability stays with the client's own people when the engagement ends, rather than leaving them dependent on the consultancy.
Simulation for decisions with a lot at stake
Justin Lyon founded Simudyne to put computer based simulation in the hands of leaders making high stakes decisions. Its platform builds agent based digital twins so that leaders in government, the military and large companies can predict the outcome of a decision before they make it.
His subject, as the guest speaker slide put it: applying AI, advanced analytics and simulation to complex problems, for business, government and civic leaders.
Who was in the room
The delegates listed in the event brochure, from finance, technology, quantum computing and public policy.
The event brochure carried a page on the Raion Prize, Raion's commendation for the founders, builders and capital allocators who have taken sovereign AI infrastructure from plan to physical reality. It is not an industry award. It recognises work that was actually built.

Raion and Daemon
Raion
Raion aggregates the partners an organisation needs to own and run its own AI infrastructure: power, land and sites, operators, off-takers and access to capital, through a project the organisation controls. It convenes that network at private forums and briefings like this one.
The strategyDaemon
Daemon is a technology consultancy based in London. It takes AI and other complex technology into production for clients in retail, financial services and the public sector, from early prototypes through to engineering squads and modernising what is already there. AWS named it EMEA Innovation Partner of the Year for 2025.

The next briefing
Raion's briefings are small, invitation only and built around one table. If you would like to be in the room next time, ask for an invitation.
